It may be a time of fiscal uncertainty, but The Boeing Company is enjoying a spectacular month of March with the awarding of four contracts worth $93.8 million.

The Seattle, Washington, branch of the company landed a $12,354,787 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract.

The job involves working on three P-8A Training Systems to provide training for P-8A aircraft along with analysis of the Aircraft Program Revision Records, which track changes. The work is being carried out in St. Louis and is scheduled to be completed in December 2013.

The contract was awarded by The Naval Air System Command, which is based in Patuxent River, Maryland.

Boeing also secured a$22.5 million contract to carry out servicing on the U.S. Army's CH-47 Chinook helicopter fleet, an in-the-field operation at various locations yet to be determined later. The project is expected to be completed by September 30 in 2015.

The company will be providing support for the CH-47 Fleet and the cargo helicopter project management office, courtesy of The U.S. Army Contracting Command in Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.

The company secured another $17.9 million contract to carry out similar work on non-deployed CH-47 Chinooks, also to be completed by the end of September in 2015.

The biggest contract this month is a $41.1 million project to provide upgrades on AH-64 Apache attack helicopters to the Block III configuration, nicknamed the "Apache Guardian" and also known as the AH-64E. The work for this will be carried out in Mesa, Arizona, with a scheduled September 30, 2014, completion date.
