As the United States and other militaries begin to gear up and ship out for the Afghanistan surge announce by President Obama, they will come face to face with a problem we have encountered since October of 2001: How to get there? It seems as if many in Congress and the media think that all the president has to say is "Go!" and these troops and their equipment will show up anywhere in the world with a continual supply line.
