I had an idea a while back about a way to manufacture Electronic Muscles. They would operate like Human muscles, and could even replace them. They could also be used to make an Eco-skeleton! The same devices, arrainged in a cross pattern and imbedded in a plastic skin for a robot, could make them have a sense of feel, far greater than we do. They could be woven into suits worn by pilots to counteract the pull of gravity on the pilot. They could also be incorperated into a human heart. If your interested, get in touch.
