IDGA’S MILITARY VEHICLES EXHIBITION & CONFERENCE
RETURNS TO DETROIT THIS AUGUST

Advancements and Opportunities within the Armored,
Homeland Security and Law Enforcement Vehicle Market

New York, NY, April 18, 2013 - IDGA has just announced the date of its flagship Military Vehicles Exhibition & Conference. Now in its fifth year, MVEC is the largest stand-alone vehicle event in the United States. Last year’s event brought together over 200 exhibitors, 2,000+ international/domestic attendees and 28 participating countries.

This year will bring a new expanded perspective that will include armored vehicles for national security and law enforcement. As the vehicle community faces a series of challenges previously unfelt, individuals have stepped up to continue vital communications, collaborations and research developments. Sustaining these conversations will undoubtedly return value in the future years since progress marches on tirelessly.

The conference and exhibition will take place on July 31 – August 1, 2013 at the Cobo Convention Center, Detroit, MI. The event will bring together 30+ high profile speakers including Lieutenant Colonel Lior Kotick, Project Manager, ISRAEL MOD, Paul Villaire, Chief, Foreign Intelligence Technology Section, HQDA, DCS G-2 and Eileen Wenger Tutt, Executive Director, California Electric Transportation Coalition.

Access to the Presentation Theater and Exhibit Hall is complimentary and attendees will have the option to attend 12 seminars free-of-charge, as well the opportunity to experience dozens of product showcases on the expo floor. Free expo passes are now available at www.MilitaryVehiclesExpo.com.

2013 sessions will cover:

· US military vehicle acquisition roadmap and sustainment priorities

· Tomorrow’s vehicle needs for the US Army

· Future ground and amphibious vehicle requirements and capabilities

· Systems integration requirements and vehicle modernization for future combat

· Lessons learned from the 1st and 3rd LAR deployments in Afghanistan

· Updates on the GCV and JLTV platforms

· The US LAV 25 and upgrade efforts for platform improvement

Join hundreds of individuals from the vehicles community as they come together to learn best practices, programs and processes for 2013. This will be a rare opportunity to come together with the largest cross-section of the military vehicles community and its supporting product and service providers. Meet your future clients within this hard-to-reach military vehicles community.
