U.S. Military Tops New National Satisfaction Poll

A new Gallup Mood Of The Nation poll released today (Tuesday, January 29) shows that Americans are most satisfied with the U.S. military – and are more unhappy about the economy than anything else.
The poll has been timed to coincide with the start of President Obama’s second term, with the latest figures compared in percentage terms to the Mood Of The Nation survey carried out at the start of President Bush’s second term in 2005.
