Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) are not a recent discovery. The history of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles can be traced back to World War I. In those days governments started trials with UAVs for defensive use, however development was stopped at the conclusion of the war. During World War II research and development of UAVs started afresh. The United States mainly used UAVs as preparation apparatus, to give its anti-aircraft gunners live targets to shoot at.
