Jason Kane

Deputy Director, Directorate of Terrorist Identities NCTC

Jason Kane has spent the better part of 11 years at the National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC) and currently serves as the Deputy Director of the Directorate of Terrorist Identities. Mr. Kane recently returned to NCTC following an assignment at CIA's Identity Intelligence Center in the Directorate of Science and Technology. Prior to his arrival at NCTC in 2007, he worked as a civilian analyst alongside the U.S. Marine Corps' Intelligence Battalions and varying Task Force Units in Fallujah, Iraq (2006-2007). Over the course of his career, Jason has also worked at NSA supporting special maritime operations, served in the U.S. Navy as a Cryptologist (Collection), and aided criminal investigations for NCIS at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, and the Attorney General's Office for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Mr. Kane holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Administration of Justice (Pre-Law) and Masters degree in Administration (Public Administration). He and his wife have two sons and live in Warrenton, Virginia.
