US-VISIT was a program started after 9/11 to vet visitors to the United States and check those visitors are not on any known or suspected ‘watch lists’. As Greg Ambrose, Chief Information Officer for US-VISIT program explains in this IDGA exclusive interview, the program collects 200,000 biometric entries per day, over 2 million per month at ports of entry. Mr. Ambrose explores the future demands for the program and admits ‘our stakeholders are eager to adopt other forms of verifying identity’.
