Lieutenant Colonel Myles served as the Product Manager for Soldier Survivability Items at PEO Soldier. PEO Soldier is charged with the responsibility of developing, equipping and fielding soldiers with the very best technology possible. Based at Fort Belvoir, VA the scope of Program Executive Office Soldier covers all equipment a soldier takes with them into combat. Whether it is combat boots, body armor, parachutes and rifles, PEO Soldier puts it in the hands of the war fighter.

The importance of providing force multipliers at every level is critical to mission success. Given the advances in technologies across the board, body armor has become an ever important focal point of research and development. Within the body armor category are the helmets Soldiers wear in combat. The Advanced Combat Helmet was an enormous improvement over past designs and was an additional force multiplier to those downrange.
