Colonel Peterson serves in one of the United States Army’s most important commands. Joint MRAP Vehicle Program is dedicated to keeping Soldiers and Marines safe in all operational environments. Colonel Kevin Peterson
Military Deputy for Joint MRAP Vehicle Program

Colonel Kevin B. Peterson was born in West Point, New York, 29 August 1963. Upon graduation from Tuskegee University, Alabama in 1985, he was commissioned through ROTC as a Second Lieutenant in Field Artillery. Colonel Peterson holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Tuskegee University and a Master’s Degree in Materiel Acquisition Management from the Florida Institute of Technology.
COL Peterson currently serves as the Army’s Project Manager, Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicle program. In this role he is the responsible officer for the urgent procurement, integration, and fielding of MRAP vehicles to combat units in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Tucker Norton serves as Global Technology Manager for the Ballistic Threat Protection segment of DuPont Advanced Fiber Systems, where he leads a team of application developers for new product development and customer technical support. In his ten years at DuPont, Tucker has worked in technology and Six Sigma leadership roles in diverse areas such as bio-processing for new materials, soy protein food production and nanofiber products for filtration applications.
Tucker has earned certification as a Six Sigma Champion and Green Belt, and is Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM). He received his Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of Virginia, and his B.S. in chemical engineering from University of Delaware. Among other honors, Tucker was selected in 2000 to participate in the Frontiers of Engineering symposium, an honor given to the nation's top engineers aged 30-45. In 2003, he received the University of Delaware Presidential Citation for Outstanding Achievement.
