Lt. Col Eric Bissonette

Commander, 558 Flying Training Squadron US Air Force

Lt Col Eric M. Bissonette is the Commander, 558th Flying Training Squadron, Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph. The 558th FTS hosts the Air Force's only undergraduate remotely piloted aircraft training programs for pilots and sensor operators.

 

Lt Col Bissonette entered the Air Force in June 2000 as a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy. He has been assigned to numerous operational and training positions in the T-37, T-38 and B-1, and served as a wing director of staff and wing executive officer. Lt Col Bissonette is a command pilot with more than 2,300 flying hours

and has led combat missions in support of Operations Iraqi

Freedom and Enduring Freedom.
