Staff Chief – Cooperative Fire Protection CAL FIRE

Chief Scheurich began his fire service career in 2004 and has since risen through the Line and Chief Officer ranks. He is currently the Staff Chief of Cooperative Fire Protection for the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE). Chief Scheurich is committed to professional development, completing the Executive Fire Officer program and FEMA's Advanced Emergency Management Academy. He actively contributes to the fire service community as an instructor, evaluator, and the Deputy Incident Commander on CAL FIRE Incident Management Team 6.
