Cody Hogeboom

Chief, Counterterrorism and Specialized Training Federal Protective Service

Cody Hogeboom is the Branch Chief of the Counter Terrorism and Specialized Training branch within the Federal Protective Service Training and Professional Development Directorate. He joined the Federal Protective Service in 2013 as an Inspector and hazardous material technician in the Washington, D.C. area, where he was part of a specialized unit tasked with civil disobedience and hazardous materials response. In 2017, Hogeboom was promoted to Commander within the Specialized and Advanced Training Division where he was the program manager for Chemical and Biological response and medical countermeasures. Prior to the Federal Protect Service, Hogeboom served in the Marines where he was part of the Marine’s Security Force Presidential Security Detail for both President George W. Bush and President Barack Obama. As Branch Chief, Hogeboom leads a team that specializes in hazardous materials response, mobile field force, terrorism methodology, tactical medicine and serves as the respiratory protection program administrator for the Federal Protective Service.
