Biometrics for Government and Law Enforcement - Budget Breakdown

Biometrics for Government and Law Enforcement - Budget Breakdown

Biometrics is increasingly becoming a cornerstone of national security. Earlier this year, President Donald Trump signed an executive order requiring that the top 20 U.S. airports use biometric technology and facial recognition by 2021 for all international passengers. President Trump signed the National Strategy to Combat Terrorism Travel, which calls for the increased use of biometric technology and data to stop terrorists from entering the U.S.

Ahead of the 14th Annual Biometrics for Government and Law Enforcement Summit, taking place February 26 - 28, 2020 in Washington D.C., we created a breakdown of how federal agencies such DHS, DoS, DoD, and DoJ are leveraging biometrics & identity management solutions to enhance national security.
