Kyle Tolosano serves as the Regional Aviation Officer with the U.S. Forest Service for the Pacific Southwest Region, supporting fire and aviation operations across California. With extensive experience in helicopter operations, aerial supervision, and interagency coordination, Kyle plays a key role in advancing aviation capabilities to support wildfire response and firefighter safety.

He has been closely involved in the development and expansion of helicopter coordination and night-flying programs, working with federal, state, and local partners to standardize training, qualifications, and operational procedures. His work focuses on integrating emerging aviation technologies, improving aerial command and control, and enhancing the effectiveness of nighttime firefighting operations.

Kyle collaborates regularly with interagency partners to strengthen aviation coordination and ensure safe, efficient wildfire response across the region. His efforts continue to support innovation in wildfire aviation operations and the implementation of new technologies that improve situational awareness and mission effectiveness.
