Joaquin Ramirez is a wildland fire technologist with 30 years of experience bringing science to the frontlines. As the founder and CTO of Technosylva, he bridges the gap between complex research and actionable operations, creating industry-leading tools like Wildfire Analyst. A global advocate for human-centered innovation, Joaquin pushes beyond standard models to ensure data and analytics are intuitive, validated, and life-saving. In addition, he holds a Ph.D in remote sensing and GIS, coordinated the first European Masters Program in Forest Fires, and is the former President of the International Association of Wildland Fire, leading the conversation on how technology evolves to support communities and fire agencies worldwide.
