Jeff Millar

Jeff Millar is the Director of PG&E's Wildfire Operations, the team responsible for PG&E wildfire response and mitigation. This organization includes the company's internal Wildfire Prevention program, along with the Public Safety Specialist team and Safety and Infrastructure Protection team. He has been employed by PG&E since 2014.

Prior to joining PG&E, Jeff worked for CAL FIRE for over 30 years and retired from the agency as a Battalion Chief. He worked in nearly every wildfire program area within CAL FIRE, including Operations, Conservation Camps, Emergency Command Centers, Fire Prevention, Aviation and Resource Management. Jeff has extensive emergency management experience and served on CAL FIRE incident management teams for 13 years, holding the positions of Liaison Officer, Operations Section Chief, and Deputy Incident Commander. He also served on one of FEMA's national incident management assistance teams (IMAT) as an Operations Branch Director, managing the federal response to multiple large-scale disasters across the United States. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry, from the University of California, Berkeley.
