Dr. Gerry Graves is a Sr.
Principal Engineer with Advanced Technology International. He has more than 35
years of experience in engineering, research, and technical program management.
His technical expertise includes computer integrated manufacturing
technologies, systems engineering, and computer system architectures and
software. His current assignment is Managing Director and Secretary/Treasurer
of the Vertical Lift Consortium, as a part of ATI’s role as the Consortium
Administrative Organization. Dr. Graves
is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the VLC, including serving as
the interface between the VLC and its customers, and managing the Corporation’s
financial and accounting processes. With
over 160 member organizations representing the full spectrum of the defense
aviation industry and leading universities, the VLC provides unparalleled
collective experience and capabilities to join with the Government in advancing
defense aviation. Previously, Gerry
served as Program Manager for numerous consortium-based R&D projects for a
variety of government agencies. Prior
to joining ATI, Dr. Graves was a tenured faculty and held positions with
several Universities. Dr. Graves
received Industrial Engineering degrees from the University of Arkansas, and
the Ph.D. from Oklahoma State University. He served for five years as an F-14
Flight Officer in the U.S. Navy.
