Ms. Corey Chance

Corey Chance is the Technical Director for Installation Energy Policy & Programs, Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Infrastructure, Energy and Environment, Department of the Air Force, Virginia. Her responsibilities include assisting and advising the Deputy Assistant Secretary in the development and oversight of installation energy activities addressing mission assurance through energy assurance. She is specifically responsible for nuclear energy pilot projects across the Department of the Air Force.

Corey Chance was born in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin and received her commission from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, in May 2007, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering and was a Distinguished Graduate of the ROTC program. Her career highlights include assignments on the Headquarters Air Force Civil Engineer staff, the European Command staff, and as the Commander for the 349th Mission Support Group.

Corey completed her Masters of International Construction Management through the University of Florida and earned her Project Management Professional certification and Professional Engineer license. Her military education includes Air War College (by correspondence), Joint Combined Warfighter School, Air Command and Staff College (by correspondence) and Squadron Officer School (in-residence) where she was the Commandant's Excellence in Leadership Award and Outstanding Contributor recipient. Her husband, Rob, is an Ohio native currently serving on active duty as University of Pittsburgh Air Force ROTC Professor of Aerospace Science.
