Dr. Frederick G. White Jr., PhD is a Senior Management Analyst with the Department of Veteran’s Affairs – Veterans Experience Office. Frederick received an undergraduate degree in Biology and Chemistry from Xavier University, LA; a Master’s of Public Health degree from Tulane University’s School of Public Health &Tropical Medicine; and a Ph.D. in Public Affairs and Policy (with a focus on leadership and strategic planning) from Portland State University’s Hatfield School of Government. Prior to his current position, Frederick served as the Senior Administrator to the CEO/Medical Center Director at Portland VA Medical Center, where he helped the organization achieve the State and National Baldrige Performance Excellence Awards. Frederick has completed the VISN 20 Leadership Development Program, Leadership VA, and the VA/VHA Executive Management Fellowship Program. Dr. White currently serves as Adjunct Faculty at Shenandoah University focusing on project management and is a VHA Certified Mentor, currently mentoring two leaders through VA’s Aspiring Leaders Program. He currently lives in Winchester, VA and enjoys writing, golfing, movies, cooking, and traveling with family and friends.
