Dr. Jennifer Murphy is the Director of Pain Management for the Department of Veterans Affairs, working under the Pain Management, Opioid Safety, and Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PMOP). As a pain psychologist, Dr. Murphy serves as master trainer, subject matter expert, and lead manual author for VA's Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Chronic Pain (CBT-CP). Dr. Murphy is a champion for interdisciplinary pain rehabilitation programs and an investigator on multiple funded clinical trials examining nonpharmacological pain treatments. She resides in Tampa, Florida.
