David Bowers is the Product Manager for virtual assistant solutions at Solventum. These solutions leverage speech recognition and natural language understanding (NLU) technologies to provide workflow efficiencies to simplify EHR charting tasks and reduce administrative burden for all clinicians. David has over a decade of product expertise focused on harnessing the capabilities of these emerging technologies and effectively integrating them into the clinical workflow. He started his career at M*Modal focused on NLU applications that identify gaps in documentation and provide efficiencies in the clinical documentation improvement (CDI) process. His experience with solutions that offer real-time nudging towards best practices has led to benefits for both clinicians and revenue cycle management teams. David earned his BS in Health Information Management from the University of Pittsburgh and he holds an MBA from Boston University
