Mark "SNapper" Mattison

Mark "SNapper" Mattison is a former US Air Force command­er and F-16C fighter pilot who led warriors at the flight, squad­ron, and wing level. Over his three decades of flying US and Russian fighters, he trained pilots in the F-16C, MiG 29, SU-22, F-15C, B-1B. Mark had many unique experiences with other military and intelligence organizations around the world. His Air Force experience prepared him for his current role as the Vice President of Military Programs for US Aviation.

Mark spent most of his time in graduate classes daydreaming and making up stories. One of which became The Dragon File, his first published novel. Mark served on the Board of Directors for a non-profit in West Texas that feeds the working poor. He taught weekly classes on personal budgeting and finance to people from poor neighborhoods.  

In third grade he authored his first masterpiece titled, "Won't you be surprised when I play for the Kansas City Chiefs." He remains a dedicated (rabid) fan of the NFL football team.
