Lieutenant General Clark Quinn

Lt. Gen. Clark J. Quinn is the Commander, Air Education and Training Command, Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas. He is responsible for the recruitment, training and education of Air and Space Force personnel. His command includes Air Force Accessions Center, two Numbered Air Forces and Air University. AETC operates an inventory of approximately 1,000 aircraft, 19 wings, and 9 bases. It governs more than 36,000 total-force personnel who train over 300,000 students per year.

He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Florida in 1991 and received his commission through Officer Training School in 1993. Lt. Gen. Quinn is a command pilot with more than 3,100 flying hours who has supported operations Southern Watch, Noble Eagle, Iraqi Freedom, Unified Protector, Enduring Freedom and Inherent Resolve.

Prior to his current assignment, Lt. Gen. Quinn served as Deputy Commander, Air Education and Training Command, and has commanded at the squadron, wing, and numbered air force levels. He has held staff assignments at Headquarters U.S. Air Force, U.S. European Command and U.S. Central Command.
