Lieutenant Colonel Matthew J. Orlovsky

Commander, 66th Weapons Squadron US Air Force

Lt Col Matthew J. Orlovsky is the commander of the 66th Weapons Squadron. He is responsible for both the A-10C and Joint Terminal Attack Controller Weapons Instructor Course, providing Joint firepower experts for the combat air forces and Joint force.

Lt Col Orlovsky was born in San Diego, California, and entered the Air Force in May 2006 as a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy. Lt Col Orlovsky is a command pilot with 2,194 flight hours and 478 combat hours. Lt Col Orlovsky has flown combat sorties in operations ENDURING FREEDOM, ODYSSEY DAWN and UNIFIED PROTECTOR. Prior to his current position, he was the Director of Operations for the 66th Weapons Squadron.
