2026 Post-Show Report

In its third year, IDGA’s Future Indirect Fires Summit cemented itself as a must-attend event for the fires and artillery community. Taking place January 27-28 in Arlington, Virginia, the two-day conference put attendees at the center of the discussions on the latest innovations and modernizations in indirect fires platforms, support systems, and munitions. This year’s summit also took an in-depth look at the role of indirect fires in Europe and the Indo-Pacific, as well as DoW programs such as the U.S. Army’s Self-Propelled Howitzer (SPH-M), Project LASSO, and the U.S. Marine Corps OPF-L Program.

The following post-show report highlights many of the takeaways from this year’s conference, including daily summaries, an interview with the chairman, attendee testimonials, and much more.

The Future Indirect Fires is set to return to the Washington D.C. area in 2027.
