Veyrk Industries Inc. is a US-owned small business startup located in Hood River, Oregon. Veyrk is developing the LoHKI (Low-cost Hard Kill Interceptor) C-UAS interceptor to defeat Group 1 & 2 UAS threats. The LoHKI interceptor has been under self-funded development by Veyrk this year and recently tested and validated AI-enabled intercepts of threat drones. We continue follow-on development to design and proof different types of expeditionary launchers and integrate seamlessly with various C2 networks. Veyrk is on track to develop a family of effective AI-enabled interceptors that will achieve a price point of < $10,000 per interceptor.
The LoHKI interceptors and ground station are designed with a MOSA approach, to work with existing fixed or mobile infrastructure for target detection, tracking, and classification as well as standard Government Command and Control (C2) systems. Whether integrated or stand alone, the LoHKI interceptor can be setup and operated easily by a single person.
The LoHKI interceptors deploy from a compact, modular magazine that communicates with other sensors and effectors on the Government C2 network, if available. The LoHKI interceptor initiates launching and target queuing/prioritization after Detecting, Tracking, Recognizing and positively Identifying the threat. Terminal guidance uses a combination of onboard sensors assisted by embedded AI/ML/autonomy with optional operator guidance. These redundant guidance systems ensure mission success in both permissive and contested environments.
