Richard Mogavero

Director, Security and Incident Preparedness Nuclear Energy Institute

Rich Mogavero is a Director – Incident Preparedness, within the Nuclear Energy Institute. Prior to working with NEI, he held roles within Nuclear Oversight, Engineering, and Nuclear Security for Talen Energy. He has experience in nuclear Cyber Security, Access Authorization and Fitness for Duty, physical security, security for advanced reactors, and Unmanned Aerial Systems. In addition, he has a Bachelor Degree in Criminal Justice from Marywood University.
