Joseph Welch

Joseph Welch is a member of the Echodyne sales team leading Federal Civilian engagement and strategic growth initiatives. In this role, he works with government partners to advance next-generation radar and sensing solutions that support national security, critical infrastructure protection, and emerging autonomous technologies.

Joe has more than 23 years of leadership experience spanning defense, aviation and global operations. Prior to joining Echodyne, he served as Senior Manager for Business Pursuits at Highpoint Aerotechnologies, where he led capture strategy and proposal development for U.S. Department of Defense and international air defense programs. He previously served as a Lieutenant Colonel and naval aviator in the United States Marine Corps, where he held senior operational and strategic roles across the Department of the Navy and Marine Corps headquarters. During his career, he supported operations and deployments across Iraq, Afghanistan, Japan, and global shipboard missions, while leading aviation operations, global force allocation employment, and helping develop long-term aviation capability requirements for the U.S. military. Joe also served as a Presidential Helicopter pilot at HMX-1 and White House liaison officer, supporting presidential and diplomatic travel worldwide and coordinating operations across multiple U.S. government agencies.

Joe has a Master's degree in International Business and Policy from the Georgetown McDonough School of Business and Walsh School of Forgien Service, where his work focuses on domestic and global markets, technology policy, and strategic competition.
