Domain Awareness Portfolio Manager-CUAS U.S. Customs and Border Protection

Jason D. Parker serves as a distinguished Domain Awareness Portfolio Manager within the Domain Awareness Security Operations (DASO) division of U.S. Customs and Border Protection's (CBP) Air and Marine Operations (AMO). In this strategic capacity, Mr. Parker serves as the AMO Operations Coordinator for CBP's Defense Capabilities Group (DCG), where he provides critical oversight for AMO's interests within the agency's cross-component Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) initiatives.

Prior to his assignment to CBP headquarters in November 2025, Mr. Parker held a supervisory position at the Air and Marine Operations Center (AMOC) in Riverside, California. During his tenure at AMOC, he served as a domain awareness surveillance operator, where he was responsible for the detection, tracking, and interdiction of illegal threats and those engaged in illegal immigration. In this role, he leveraged advanced radar and sensor technologies to maintain comprehensive domain awareness across the nation's borders.

Mr. Parker joined CBP in July 2015, bringing with him a distinguished 22-year career in the United States Navy. His military service began as a Navy Corpsman, where he provided essential field medical support at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point and with the Second Marine Division at Camp Lejeune. He subsequently transitioned to the Navy's Air Traffic Control team, gaining extensive experience in terminal radar and control tower operations in Kingsville, Texas; Jacksonville, Florida; and Pensacola, Florida. His naval service also included critical operational experience aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt.

Throughout his career, Mr. Parker has demonstrated an exceptional ability to foster interagency collaboration. He works closely with key partners, including the Federal Aviation Administration, the National Transportation Safety Board, and the Department of War, to advance CBP's mission-critical objectives.

Beyond his operational responsibilities, Mr. Parker is deeply committed to the welfare of the CBP workforce. He serves as a Chaplain, providing spiritual care, counseling, and ethical guidance to his colleagues. Furthermore, as a dedicated member of the AMO Critical Incident Response Team, he provides vital support to personnel following traumatic events, fostering mental resilience and mitigating stress across the organization.
