Division Chief, Test Resource Investment Division, TRMC Department of War

Geoff Wilson serves as the Division Chief of the Test Resource Investment Division for the Office of the Secretary of Defense's Test Resource Management Center (TRMC), a position he has held since December 2024. In this role, he leads a $2.9B Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) portfolio dedicated to modernizing how the Department of Defense tests its most advanced weapons and systems. Prior to his current role, Mr. Wilson served as the Program Manager for the TRMC Test & Evaluation / Science & Technology (T&E/S&T) Program. Combining his technical expertise with strategic vision in both roles, Mr. Wilson has successfully championed the growth of TRMC's investments resulting in critical national initiatives in hypersonics.

Mr. Wilson's leadership is built upon a robust, hands-on foundation in aerospace engineering and test operations. During his tenure with General Infomatics, he operated as a test engineer at the White Sands Missile Range. There, he led test planning, instrumentation operations, and range safety risk analyses for highly dynamic missile systems, including the Patriot missile systems and NASA programs.

He began his career in private industry with Lockheed Martin Space Systems. As a structural design engineer, he developed critical components for the Space Shuttle External Tank and the Orion spacecraft service module. He subsequently transitioned into satellite operations, where he managed real-time mission planning, orbit adjustments, and command and control procedures for on-orbit satellite systems.

Mr. Wilson earned a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Virginia Tech and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from George Mason University.
