Colonel Charles Seaberry

In August 2023, Colonel Charles M. Seaberry was appointed Director of the U.S. Army Futures Command Forward Element (Atlantic), based in London, United Kingdom. In this role, he oversees efforts to leverage Science and Technology (S&T) collaboration, research, and ally interoperability across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. His work focuses on engaging with academia, industry, and partner governments to address key Army modernization priorities and drive innovation and interoperability through cooperative R&D partnerships with NATO and foreign entities.

Prior to this, COL Seaberry was Product Manager for the Common Synthetic Environment (PdM CSE), delivering cutting-edge training solutions such as the Synthetic Training Environment (STE) and Live, Virtual, Constructive, Integrated Architecture (LVC-IA). He previously served as Assistant Executive Officer to the Principal Military Deputy, Assistant Secretary of the Army (Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology) at the Pentagon, and as Executive Officer and Assistant Program Manager at Program Executive Office, Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation (PEO STRI). He also served as Assistant Program Manager for Games for Training at PEO STRI.

COL Seaberry also participated in the Army's Training with Industry (TWI) program at Lockheed Martin, and served as Deputy Division Chief of Contracting for the Los Angeles District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Earlier in his career, he was Branch Chief and Warranted Contracting Officer for the 411th Contracting Support Brigade in Korea and Contingency Contracting Officer with the 641st Contingency Contracting Team in Kuwait.

COL Seaberry holds a Bachelor of Arts from Augusta State University, a Master of Arts from Webster University, an MBA from the Naval Postgraduate School, and a Master of National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College. He is Level III certified in Contracting and Program Management and is a member of the Army Acquisition Corps.

COL Seaberry is married to the former Rachelle Ignacio.
