Founder & Managing Attorney, Former DoJ Attorney Savino Skies Consulting

Angelissa Savino is the Founder and Managing Attorney of Savino Skies Consulting PLLC, where she advises law enforcement agencies and critical infrastructure operators on the development of legally sound counter-unmanned aircraft systems (C-UAS) programs. Her practice focuses on the intersection of C-UAS law, policy, and operations, with particular emphasis on helping critical infrastructure and SLTT stakeholders navigate the complex statutory and regulatory frameworks governing detection and mitigation activities.

Prior to founding Savino Skies Consulting, Ms. Savino served as an attorney in the Department of Justice's National Security Division for more than four years, advising senior federal officials on C-UAS operational packages, constitutional and civil liberties safeguards, and legislative efforts to expand counter-UAS authorities. She regularly represented the Department's equities before the National Security Council and across the interagency, coordinating with DoD, DHS, FAA, and the Intelligence Community on C-UAS policy development and mitigation authorities. Ms. Savino also serves as a Reserve Judge Advocate in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, building on prior active-duty assignments as a Complex Trial Prosecutor, Special Assistant U.S. Attorney, and strategic policy advisor at the Pentagon.
