Maryann Lawson is a defense acquisition and engineering professional serving across both the Army and Marine Corps since 2009.

Ms. Lawson currently serves as the Product Lead for the Advanced Reconnaissance Vehicle (ARV) under Portfolio Acquisition Executive Marine Corps. She oversees program planning, performance specifications, contracting strategies, milestone documentation, and cross-service coordination.

Assistant Product Manager for 30mm Lethality for PM Stryker, Ms. Lawson managed the cost, schedule, and performance of the Stryker Infantry Carrier Vehicle Dragoon program. Her efforts supported the transition from the Urgent needs fielding to 2nd Cavalry Regiment to the Program of Record for the Stryker-30mm variant. The effort spanned source selection, production, testing, and fielding.

Lead Survivability Engineer for the M109A7 and M992A3 programs, where she directed survivability integration, executed multimillion-dollar test events, resolved critical production challenges, and negotiated major contracts with defense industry partners.

Mechanical Engineer for CCDC GVSC, she led ballistic testing for both internal research as well as production control test of transparent armor solutions for fielded systems. She was responsible for several fabrication projects and survivability design projects in support of various ground vehicle programs.

Guest researcher at the Army Research Laboratory, leading integration-focused experimentation and authoring technical reports that advanced the understanding of key mechanism that optimize integration of passive and reactive armor solutions.

Ms. Lawson holds a Master of Science in Engineering Management and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
