Deputy Commanding General, Army National Guard Transformation and Training Command (T2COM)

Major General David Hall is the Deputy Commanding General (DCG), Army National Guard for Transformation and Training Command (T2COM). In this capacity, he is responsible for reserve component integration into Army transformation and training efforts within T2COM.

Previously, Maj. Gen. Hall served as the DCG, Army National Guard for Army Futures Command (AFC), where he supported National Guard integration into Army modernization and experimentation activities. As the National Guard Bureau J8, he oversaw programming, future capabilities, requirements, and innovation for both the Army National Guard and Air National Guard.

Maj. Gen. Hall was commissioned as an Aviation Officer from the United States Military Academy (USMA). He has led from the platoon through the brigade level and has experience at both the State and National levels. His overseas assignments include Korea, Kuwait, Iraq, Egypt, and Ukraine. He also has extensive domestic operations experience in support of natural disasters and civil disturbance.

Maj. Gen. Hall holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from USMA, and advanced degrees in administration from Central Michigan University and strategic studies from the Army War College. He is a National Security Studies Fellow with Syracuse University and a graduate of the Homeland Security Seminar from Harvard Kennedy School.

Maj. Gen. Hall is married with three children.
