Soldier Equipment: Still Time to Catch the Buzz at Fort Bragg
Add bookmarkThere’s still time to catch a slice of the action at IDGA’s 5th Annual Soldier Equipment & Technology Expo that is taking place this week at Fort Bragg.
The event is being held in the Expo Hall and Presentation Theater today and tomorrow with a Live Fire Day on June 20.
There are more than 60 exhibitors and 700-plus trade visitors over the first two complimentary days, which also includes a free BBQ/beer afternoon.
Katrina Savarino, IDGA’s Marketing Manager for the event, said: "What’s causing the buzz at this year’s event is the fact that we have brand new exhibitors bringing their gear to the soldiers’ hands.
"Visitors will be able to find exhibitors ranging from Smart Nano Armored Vehicle Seats, Green, Red and Infrared Laser Systems, AR platform rifles, primary and rechargeable military batteries to satellite-based broadband communications product."
The event is a great opportunity to collaborate with key decision makers and innovators responsible for producing battle-ready soldiers.
The setting, of course, is just one of the factors that make this event special. Fort Bragg has for more than half a century had a proud heritage as the Home of the nation’s finest fighting forces.
Widely known as the "home of the airborne," Fort Bragg hosts the "Green Berets," the 82ndAirborne Division and the XVIII Airborne Corps.
