Capt Justin Singleton, USMC of the Marine Corps warfighting lab in Quantico, VA discusses work on improving the performance and functionality of Body Armor at IDGA's 5th Annual Military Armor Protection event. He details two separate tests conducted by the lab that worked to reduce weight and load for war fighters while providing survivability and also to test body armor's impact on marksmanship. He elaborates on the training scenarios used to gain the results and how those results will be used to provide the best possible equipment.
