Regional MSL Director - Northeast & Senior Director, Medical Affairs Intra-Cellular Therapies (a Johnson & Johnson Company)

Margaret Martin, PharmD, BCPS, is a Regional Director of MSLs with Intra-Cellular Therapies (ITCI), based out of Smithfield, Virginia. She attended James Madison University, followed by pharmacy school at the Medical College of Virginia.

Prior to joining the Medical Affairs group at ITCI, Dr Martin worked as a clinical pharmacist, both in the United States Air Force as well as in the Sentara health system in Virginia. Dr Martin joined ITCI in 2021 and has been working in psychiatry medical affairs since 2019.

In the Air Force, she served as the director of clinical pharmacy services, overseeing an anticoagulation clinic and metabolic/lipid clinic. Once transitioning to the civilian sector, she worked as an inpatient clinical pharmacist in the Sentara health system, providing drug therapy consults in an outpatient heart failure clinic, as well as the emergency department, medical units, and ICU.

As an MSL director, Dr Martin’s role is to serve as a scientific resource for ITCI’s products and disease states related to their neuropsychiatry portfolio.
