Michael Burke has supported Army Acquisition as a career civilian with 35 years of service. He has supported the development, transition into production, materiel release and delivery to the warfighter of over a dozen products. He is serving in an Army Centralized Selection Board position as Product Director Demolition and Countermeasures, now identified as Joint Ammunition & Weapon Systems within Project Manager, Close Combat Systems, and supports multiple Army User communities, (Aviation, Engineer, Infantry, Military Police, and Training Ranges) that deliver legacy and modern capabilities in the application of lethal and protective payloads for UAS, demolitions, energetics, warheads, initiation systems, handheld signals, training simulators, aircraft expendable countermeasures and the canine explosive scent kit. In support of Portfolio Acquisition Executive, Agile Sustainment and Ammunition, (PAE AS&A), Capability Program Executive for Ammunition and Energetics (CPE A&E) responsibility as the Single Manager for Conventional Ammunition (SMCA), many of his products are used by the other services. In addition, he is also responsible for the production and delivery of 13 bombs and ancillary hardware for the Air Force and Navy.
