Main Day 2
8:00 - 8:50 Registration & Morning Networking
8:50 - 9:00 OPENING REMARKS
9:00 - 9:45 Synchronization between all of the service branches for enhanced organization in combat
Advancements in cyber and artificial intelligence, along with other technologies continue to accelerate and proliferate across all domains. Our adversaries are strengthening their strategies by advancing their weapon systems to match or exceed ours
– it is up to us to work together as a force instead of developing domain specific solutions which slows down our efforts in wartime.
-Unified operations to improve protection against external threats
-Cross domain training for advanced service organization
-All domains working together to limit mission failures
9:45 - 10:30 Effectively using gathered information to make decisions in real time in order to ensure operational success
Making decisions in real time aids in limiting delayed reactions to adversarial threats. The use of big data analysis and data fusion helps to create a common operating picture to coordinate operations and allows battle managers to respond efficiently in combat.
-Acquiring new technologies to conduct precise operations
-Making decisions in real time using acquired intelligence
-Faster reactions to threats to deter enemies
10:30 - 11:15 Networking Break
11:15 - 12:00 PANEL: Addressing the conceptualities of joint tactical, operational and strategic technologies
Bridging the gap between information and operational technology will move us in the right direction and assist with conjoining all of the military services. Addressing these conceptualities will improve decision making and wartime preparations.
-Plans and priorities to integrate technological systems for optimized warfighting
-Command and control capabilities and the way ahead
-Enforcing novel strategies to implement multi domain battle
12:00 - 13:00 Lunch
8:00 - 8:30 Ensuring that military communication, C2 and C4 systems are interoperable so information can be shared easily
Interoperability is key for multi domain battle management. It is pertinent to have open and reliable communication pathways between systems so that data sharing can occur effectively.
-Sharing information across each domain effectively
-Developing and acquiring interoperable systems that allow convergent operations
-Addressing vulnerabilities in new developments in C2 and C4
13:45 - 14:30 Cross domain training to ensure that military personnel are equally equipped in combat
Training and re-training is required to ascertain that everyone is equally equipped on the battlefront. Uniformity across the services is imperative because it ensures that there are limited capability gaps in the force.
-Live, virtual and constructive technologies to aid in joint exercises
-Simulation training to prepare warfighters for the battlefield
-Specialized training to increase mission success
8:00 - 8:30 Improving integration across the multi domain battlespace to ensure better communication
To ensure effective multi domain command and control there must be a platform that can observe and communicate across all 5 domains. Upgrading, updating and enhancing current communication technologies is essential in order to connect over land, air, sea, space and cyberspace.
-Enhancing system architecture to increase interoperability
-Employing joint capabilities as to strengthen the multi-domain force
-Executing precise operations with the desired amount of force
