Colonel Gerard Ryan

Colonel Gerard  Ryan, is Chief, Operational Training Infrastructure Division, Directorate of Training and Readiness, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, the Pentagon, Washington, D.C. He is responsible for providing policy, strategic guidance and oversight of air, space and cyber range infrastructure, Special Use Airspace, Ranges, Training systems, Distributed Mission Operations infrastructure and Modeling and Simulation.  He oversees Operational Training Infrastructure enterprise management to enhance readiness and advanced combat training capability, including integration of multi-domain operational training for air, space and cyber in live, synthetic and blended environments.  

Colonel Ryan received his commission in 1991 through the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps at Manhattan College, Bronx, New York.  He is a Special Operations Master Navigator with over 3,760 flying hours as Evaluator and Instructor in C-130E/H and MC-130H.
