Welcome to the Institute for Defense and Government Advancement’s 7th Annual Military Flight Training conference! The conference is driven by emerging ideas and initiatives from leading stakeholders across the flight training community. The level of sophistication for current and emerging aircrafts whether they are multi-engine, fixed wing, or rotary are rapidly advancing, requiring an increased focus on flight training initiatives in order to utilize the full potential of these next generation aircrafts.

By guiding flight training initiatives to leverage new technology and innovative education strategies, Commands can effectively reduce the gaps in skills and capabilities from training aircraft to operational aircraft in the most efficient and cost effective way possible. With an in-depth focus on innovation, critical discussions will take place on balancing live and synthetic training, benefits to VR technology, integration of the T-X aircraft, operational readiness initiatives, 5th Generation aircraft, to include an in-depth view on the emerging training and procurement priorities of our international partners, and much more.
