Joakim Alhbin

Joakim has held various positions at Saab since 1999, primarily within the Business Area Surveillance in Gothenburg, Sweden. He has served in leadership roles for over 20 years and has been part of shaping Saab's radar solutions.

He has within Saab led a broad variety of organisations, spanning from software development to full scale production. He serves, since September 2023, as the Vice President and Head of Business Unit Training & Simulation in Huskvarna, Sweden. In this role, Joakim oversees the overall efforts to develop and produce training systems and exercise support for customers worldwide.

Joakim has experience in technology and defence operations across global markets. The cornerstone of his leadership lies in his personal interactions with his team members, making him a highly esteemed leader.

He is married to Jessica, and together they have a daughter named Julia. They live in Kungsbacka, just outside Gothenburg, Sweden. In Joakim´s leisure time, he enjoys mountain biking and his curiosity often takes him into new areas to indulge in.
