Cybersecurity and Privacy Incident Response Crisis Lead Microsoft

Joshua Boyce is the Cybersecurity and Privacy Incident Response Crisis Lead for Microsoft’s Cloud and Artificial Intelligence Division. This includes leadership for Microsoft’s state-of-the-art Cyber Defense Operations Center (CDOC), a 24x7 cybersecurity, privacy and defense facility that unites security experts and data scientists in a fusion center to combat evolving threats across Microsoft’s hyper-scaled cloud footprint of more than 200 cloud services, over 100 datacenters, millions of devices, and over a billion customers around the globe.

Joshua has over 15 years of experience serving in roles involving risk management, physical and cyber security, command center operations, military and law enforcement operations. Past roles included overall responsibility for Microsoft’s Mission Control global program, Security Management at Amazon, and an United States Air Force – Security Forces Veteran.

Joshua is an avid philanthropist serving as a founding board member of multiple NGO non-profit organizations to include the USAF Police Alumni Association, the USAF Police Alumni Foundation, Apple Grove Foundation and an Advisory Board Member for the University of Washington’s Masters of Infrastructure Planning and Management graduate degree program.

Joshua holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Northwest University, a Bachelor of Arts Business Management degree from Northwest University, an Associates Degree from the Community College of the Air Force with a concentration in Criminal Justice and an Associates of Arts and Sciences Degree from Bellevue College.
