Lieutenant Colonel Jonathan (Jon) Bodenhamer entered military service in May 2000 upon graduation from the United States Military Academy at West Point and commissioning as an Armor Officer. He currently serves as the Product Manager for Appliqué & Large Unmanned Ground Systems (ALUGS).
His previous Acquisition Corps assignments include Department of the Army Systems Coordinator for PEO STRI; Assistant Product Manager, Production, Joint Program Office, Joint Light Tactical Vehicles (JPO JLTV); Executive Officer, JPO JLTV; Assistant Product Manager, EMD Team C, JPO JLTV; and Study Manager of the Army Science Board Next Generation Combat Vehicle Study in the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Army, G-8. Prior to joining the Acquisition Corps, Jon was an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the United States Military Academy.
LTC Bodenhamer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from West Point, a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, and is a Licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Virginia. His military education includes the Armor Officer Basic and Advanced Courses; Scout Platoon Leaders Course; Airborne School; the Command and General Staff College; Program Management Office Course, Part B (PMT 352B), and Program Manager’s Course (PMT 401).
LTC Bodenhamer is a member of the Army Acquisition Corps and holds Level III Certification in Program Management and Level I Certification in Science and Technology Management.
