Brigadier General Lyle Drew

Brig. Gen. Lyle K. Drew is the Director of Logistics, Civil Engineering, ForceProtection, and Nuclear Integration, Headquarters Air Force Materiel Command,Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. He directs policy and procedures for fi eldand depot-level aircraft and commodities maintenance, nuclear weapon systemssustainment, software engineering, conventional munitions, logistics plans,transportation, supply chain operations and management, civil engineering, forceprotection and logistics information technology activities. Brig. Gen. Drew is thelead command integrator for life-cycle sustainment, product support andacquisition logistics across the Air Force weapon systems portfolio. Furthermore,he provides infrastructure and functional support to the United States Space Force. Brig. Gen. Drew entered the Air Force through the Reserve Offi cer Training Corpsprogram at Purdue University in 1994. He has held a variety of positions in aircraftmaintenance, acquisition program management and professional militaryeducation. Prior to his current assignment, Brig. Gen. Drew served as Commander, 82ndTraining Wing and Installation Commander, Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas, wherehe was responsible for the training of more than 65,000 offi cers and enlisted AirForce, Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and international students annually at SheppardAFB and more than 60 geographically separated units worldwide.
