Richard DeRiso has over 31 years of sworn law enforcement experience. He was working
as a Task Force Officer (TFO) with the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) prior to the
terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 and subsequently served on the National JTTF (NJTTF)
during the post 9/11 era. Mr. DeRiso also served as the liaison between the Secretary of United
States Department of the Interior (DOI) and the CIA, the FBI and the DHS. Mr. DeRiso is
currently serving as the Senior Law Enforcement Advisor to the FBI’s Counter Terrorism
Division (CTD) and is leading the outreach efforts for the FBI’s eGuardian Program.
