Peter Jacquez

Executive Director, Workforce Care Directorate US Customs and Border Protection

Executive Director Jaquez is responsible for leading the Workforce Care Directorate in driving the development and deployment of workforce care initiatives and programs. Executive Director Jaquez entered on duty with the 328th session of the U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) in January 1997. Upon graduation from the USBP Academy, he was assigned to Van Horn Station, in what is now known as Big Bend Sector, Texas. Most recently, in October 2022, he was appointed as the Acting Chief Patrol Agent, El Paso Sector. Throughout his career in the USBP, Executive Director Jaquez has held various leadership positions, including Patrol Agent in Charge, El Paso Station, El Paso Sector, Texas; Associate Chief of Specialty Programs within the Law Enforcement Operations Directorate, and Interim Deputy Executive Director for Mission Readiness Operations, at USBP Headquarters. Executive Director Jaquez is a graduate of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Leadership Institute. Prior to joining USBP, he served four years in the U.S. Navy as a member of the Submarine Service.
