Biometric Records Section Manager Virginia State Police Academy

 Nicole Jernigan is the Biometric Records Section Manager at the Virginia State Police, where she oversees critical systems including LiveScan, Multi-Modal Biometric Identification System (MBIS) and other biometric data operations. With over 16 years of experience in the field, Nicole has held roles as a Fingerprint Technician Senior, AFIS Analyst, and Virginia Criminal Information Network (VCIN) Systems Analyst. She holds an Associate’s degree in Criminology and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. Nicole brings deep expertise in biometric technologies and criminal justice processes to her current leadership role.
