Mr. Lee Anerson is a Management Analyst at the Defense Forensics and Biometrics Agency (DFBA), a Field Operating Agency under the Department of the Army. DFBA, a component of the U.S. Army’s Office of Provost Marshal General (OPMG), executes the responsibilities of the Executive Agent for DoD Forensics and Biometrics on behalf of the Secretary of the Army.
Mr. Anderson currently leads the DFBA Requirements Branch in capturing, analyzing, integrating and supporting the validation of biometric and forensic requirements across the Warfighter, Intelligence, and Business mission areas. He supports the oversight and management of Service-validated forensic and biometric operational requirements and assists in identifying capability shortfalls and/or redundancies. Mr. Anderson supports DoW Biometric Enterprise governance in coordination and integration of common, joint biometrics requirements and increasing awareness of individual organization or military service requirements. Mr. Anderson provides information relating to material and non-materiel capabilities in the DFBA Capability Portfolio Management tool that supports web access for selected stakeholders to track full-spectrum forensics and biometrics requirements and resulting acquisition programs across the Enterprise.
Before joining the civilian workforce, Mr. Anderson worked as a contractor supporting the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security (OUSD(I&S)) with the development of policy for the joint exploitation of CEM, or Collected Exploitable Material, utilizing a range of DoW, Interagency, and international partner capabilities. Additionally, Mr. Anderson served as contract support for exploitation efforts with the Joint IED Defeat Organization (JIEDDO) and Headquarters, Department of the Army G-38. Mr. Anderson served 11 years as a US Army officer, specializing in military engineering and civil affairs.
Mr. Anderson earned a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management from the University of Missouri at Rolla and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Auburn University.
